This page seeks to show you how to use our website to view and select garments you like, choose fabric, and order garments.
There are also photos of some garments finished, and being worn.

How it works...
Getting Started
There are essentially 3 steps to ordering garments from our site.
- Find the garment(s) that you like. Write the names down.
- Find the material you would like for each garment. Write the number next to the garment.
- Make an order.
We will make the garments, and contact you with the price.
As soon as we receive payment, the garments will be posted to the address you provide.
Please be aware that there is usually a 2-4 week waiting list for clothing.

Moving around
This deals with the list to the left, titled Navigate, and Search.
There are 12 places to visit within our website.
- These divide into 7 categories:
- "home" - the introduction page
- "how it works" - this page of instructions
- "garments for girls/ladies/maternity/babies/special" - the pages of garments to choose from
- "fabrics" - choose which fabric each garment should use
- "photo gallery" - a few photos of finished garments
- "handmade gifts" - some handmade gifts available to purchase
- "contact us" & "make an order" - contact us, or make your order
The search feature is powered by Google - you must be online to use it, as it opens a Google page.
Feel free to try it, but please do not be disappointed if it is not as effective as you had hoped!

Using the slideshow (looking at garments)
We have used a special program (called javascript) to make a slideshow of garments, photos, and gifts.
This helps make the page neater, and less cluttered, however, there are a couple of things it is helpful to know when using this slideshow.
When you open one of the garment pages, the photo gallery, or the handmade gifts, you will be presented with something that looks like this:
Click on one of the categories (pointed at with the arrow):

The top right link leads you to the gallery, which looks like this:
If there are more than 5 items in the gallery, the images will move along when the mouse is placed to one side of the gallery ribbon (the line of pictures).
When you hold the mouse over an image, its name appears below (in the gallery).
Clicking on the image causes it to open, so you can see a full-size image, pricing and information. The gallery will disappear.
If you wish to open a different category when the gallery is open, you will need to close the gallery by clicking the same place you clicked to open it, or by clicking an image (also closing the gallery).

Choosing fabric
Simply open the Fabrics page and choose which fabric (or fabrics) you would like your garments made of, and take a note of the number below the fabric. You will need to select this number in the order form.

Making an order
Making an order is quite simple.
First, visit some of the garment pages - ladies, girls, maternity, babies, or special garments, and take note of which patterns you like. It is helpful to write these down, as you will need to know the name of the pattern to order.
Second, visit the fabric page and choose which fabrics you like for these garments. Once again, writing the numbers of the fabrics down is helpful.
Third, open the Order Form in preparation for making an order.
If necessary, contact us first with any questions you may have.
Fourth, fill in the contact details on the form as required. If you do not have one of the required details, please type "none".
Fifth, select which garments you want from the drop down boxes, with the appropriate fabric choice, and any options/comments.
Lower down, you must also fill in your measurements.
Sixth, click on "submit form" to send the form. The form-sending site will open. (requires internet connection)
Finally, wait for a reply in regards to your order. When your garments are almost completed, Ami will contact you to arrange payment, and your garments will arrive in the mail.

Payment options
No payment is made until your order is processed, and Ami has confirmed the price.
Due to finding that many people require a different size pattern for their garment (according to their measurements) than they think (i.e. Lady thinks she fits size 10, while her measurements require size 12 pattern, or vice versa), Ami checks with the pattern, based on your measurements, to confirm the cost involved.
When it comes to payment, Ami accepts Cheques or Australia Post Money Orders (made to her name), direct deposit, or cash in person.

Problem: I don't see any slideshow - actually, my page looks kind of funny...like this
Answer: For some reason javascript is not enabled on your computer.
Solution: Go to the start menu/help and support on your computer and try to enable it. Someone you know may be able to help you.
